It connects to the city by a street of columns, the sacred road (today only a small part of it is visible) leading to a monumental entrance, the "propylon" and opened in a large courtyard that was surrounded by stones in three sides. The inscription on the entrance read: "In the name of the gods, death can not enter here." In the center there is a round marble altar with reliefs representing serpents (serpents were sacred to Asclepius due to their power to renew and themselves), the symbol of Asclepius. Proceed to Thyatira (Akhisar); Thyatira is one of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation tolerates the false prophet Jezebel (Rev 1: 11; 2: 18-29). In early Christian times, Significant Thyatira was the home of a Christian church, mentioned as one of the seven churches of the Apocalypse. According to Apocalypse, a woman named Jezebel (who calls herself a prophetess) taught and seduced the Christians of Thyateira to fornicate and eat things sacrificed to idols. The Apostle Paul and Silas may have visited during the second or third trip of Paul Thyateira, although the evidence is entirely circumstantial. They visited several small unnamed cities in the general vicinity during the second trip. While in Philippi, Paul and Silas were left with a woman named Lydia from Thyatira, who continued to help them, even after they were imprisoned and set free. Drive back to Ismirna – Accommodation

After breakfast, visit the three of the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse, one after the other. The second, whose foundation is associated with Alexander the Great metropolitan proportions, reached during the period of the Roman Empire. Date from the Roman era, most of the second century AD after an earthquake most of what is left today. In practical terms, a distinction is often made between Old Smyrna, the initial settlement founded around the 11th century BC, first as a settlement of the Aeolians, and later assumed and developed during the Archaic Period by the Ionians, and Izmir proper, the new city moved from the previous one from the fourth century BC and whose foundation was inspired by Alexander the Great. Poor and persecuted, the church of Smyrna suffered in the midst of prosperity for its refusal to worship the Roman emperor. This proved to be the last bastion of Christianity in Asia Minor. Beginning of the second great century Bishop Policarpo, who was burned alive at the age of eighty-six. Visit of Sardis (Salihli); Jesus told Sardis: "I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and you are dead" (Revelation 3: 1-6). The first reference to Sardis is in The Persians of Aeschylus (472 BC); In the Iliad, the name Hyde seems to be given to the city of Meonia (Lydia) chiefs, and in later times Hyde is said to be the ancient name of Sardis, or the name of its citadel. It is, however, more likely that Sardis was not the original capital of the Maeonians, but also that it was in the midst of the changes that occurred in the mighty Lydian empire of the 8th century BC.
